Communist? I don't think so...

Good morning everyone,

It looks like the rain will have passed by before I head to work (at least I hope so...ha ha!) and then we can settle in for a comfortable, cloudy day.

Before I write about today's topic (actually I'm stalling because I have no idea what I'm going to write today...ha ha!) I'd like to clarify a couple of things about the bbq at Karuga Beach. All of the fun meat I'm bringing-the crocodile, kangaroo and ostrich-will be on skewers or kebabs. The burgers are 100% beef so don't worry! Also, if anyone is driving and wouldn't mind picking me up at school I'm looking for volunteers. Your payment will can have first choice of the kebabs...ha ha!

Is anyone else getting more and more worried about North Korea? The 'great leader' as Kim Jong Il calls himself, has made generals of his 27 year old son, his 64 year old sister and his advisor. While it is plain that he is promoting his youngest son to ease the transition of power while keeping it in the family and empowering the other two to act as advisors, I'm surprised at the ease with which it went through. All it really shows is that North Korea is a communist country in name only and has become a hereditary dictatorship in practice. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to any changes in North Korea's leader, while Kim Jong Il is erratic, at least we know what he's like and 'better the devil you know', right?

Have a great day!
