Koi Evacuation Camp-last day

Good morning everyone,

Can it be true? Is spring finally here? The daily highs are finally reaching seasonal averages of around 18C, although the mornings are still pretty cool-they should be around 7 or 8C, but it's much colder than that. Usually when I get up in the morning it's around 1C or 2C.

What does all of this mean for the hanami party? Two things-you'd better wear a jacket and you'd better bring your imagination because there probably won't be many cherry blossoms blooming...ha ha! Otherwise we are going forward with the party! It'll be nice weather on Sunday so let's enjoy the party no matter what!

Yes, you read the title of today's blog correctly. The poop machine and his mom are heading home today. They are missing 'daddy' a little and also, I'm guessing it'd be nice to sleep in their own bed for the first time in 2 weeks. My friend was saying that there is a good chance they could be back in a few days so I won't be rearranging the furniture back to the way it was anytime soon. The situation in Tokyo is pretty unpredictable, but it isn't as bad as it was even a week ago.

I'll definitely miss the little rugrat. He's got so used to me, that when I come home he crawls to the door to greet me. It'll be pretty quiet here...(sniff, sniff)

Anyway, have a great day!

PS We use 'sniff, sniff' as the sound we make when our nose running because we feel like we are going to cry...
