I need a bigger bag...

Good morning everyone,

I don't know about you, but I had another gorgeous day for my day off yesterday! It was sunny and hot and not that humid. Sure it was a bit humid-this is Hiroshima-it's always humid here! Ha ha! But here we are, just a day away from July and I still haven't turned on the A/C at home yet. That's amazing! We'll see some rain later today and into tomorrow before it stops sometime tomorrow afternoon. Thursday and Friday are expected to be mostly cloudy and then rain again on the weekend...

I've got an awesome bag! I'm sure I posted a picture of it when I got it for my birthday last year...but just in case...

It's waterproof so I can use it 365 days a year and it's reflective, so it couldn't be safer at night. The strip in the middle is made from the same material that road workers and police wear at night. And it's big. It's big enough to hold a case of beer with some space left over for my thermos! How many of you can say that about your bag?

But I went to Costco yesterday and bought a Ceasar salad, some jam and snacks and it was pretty much full. By the time I swung by Fresta and Want's to finish up my shopping, I was stuffing it like a turkey on Christmas Day. There wasn't any way I was going to put anything else in there-I don't think I could have squeezed in even a box of Choco-balls! Ha ha!

However, we pulled it off! ('we' meaning me and my bag). I don't think I want to try that again too many times though. From now on, shopping at Costco will have to be its own day. I won't be able to pop in there and Fresta on the same trip...by the time I got home, my shoulder was red and there was a bright red strip diagonally across my chest-it looked like I'd been in a car accident with my seatbelt on! I'd take a picture to show you, but I don't want all the women to get too excited at my manly chest...ha ha!

If I hadn't been planning on going to Fresta after Costco, I probably would have picked up a few more things at Costco that looked pretty good...actually, now that I think about it, having that plan probably saved me some money-and saving money is never a bad idea! Especially not for a poor English teacher...

Have a great day!
