Good morning everyone,

It's going to be grey and overcast all day-but they are no longer calling for rain today. However, they are still saying that we can expect rain tomorrow and then it'll be a sunny weekend with daytime highs around 16C all week.

I felt like I was going to die yesterday. Well, not really. It's just an expression we use when we feel really sick. That was me yesterday.

I got food poisoning. I'm still not sure exactly from what, but it wasn't very fun, that's for sure. Luckily yesterday was an easy day-all I did was cancel my trip to the kids school and I somehow survived teaching my regular classes. So, yesterday was survival day-just don't die. Ha ha!

But today might be even harder. I'm feeling a lot better-by no means am I 100%, but I can actually move around without feeling like I'm going to throw up. Today is the day where  I'm expecting to feel a lot better, but will still have to settle for liquids. I might try some consommé but that's the closest thing to food I'll be eating.

Then tomorrow I'll move on to BRAT foods (or maybe tonight if I'm feeling a lot better). Basically, doctors say that you should stick with bananas, rice, applesauce or toast for your first foods after having food poisoning. That'll be me tomorrow-hey! It's kind of exciting, I can try okayu for the first time maybe...

Anyway, if you see me today and I look like death warmed over, don't worry-I don't have the flu. I'm just recovering from food poisoning. Speaking of which, I'm sure there are a lot of worse times to get food poisoning-like just before getting on a plane to somewhere or  the day before your wedding. But I have to say that getting it the day after you run a 15km is pretty bad too. Because you have stiff muscles from running the race and then you have stiff joints from the fever and a lack of water means that it's really difficult to recover. Anyway, I'm on the road to recovery now.

Have a great day!
