It's a sign from god...

Good morning everyone,

I don't know when it started raining, but it is raining now and will probably continue raining for the rest of the morning. It's supposed to clear up around lunchtime and will remain cloudy in the afternoon. Tomorrow will be cloudy and the rest of the week a mix of sun and clouds with highs of 9C or 10C (which is the average for this time of year).

The week I was off, the weather was nice-sure it was cold a couple of days and we had snow once or twice, but I swear that this rain is God's way of telling me not to go to work today! Ha ha!

Actually, it'll be nice to get out and see what the rest of Hiroshima City looks like. I ventured far from home yesterday-all the way to Al Park (I'm being sarcastic) and it wasn't crowded at all. There were a few school kids hanging out with friends or shopping with their moms, but it was quieter than I expected.

I guess the 'ladies who lunch' (means housewives who have the time and money to go out for lunch with their friends regularly) will be out in full force once their kids head back to school and their households get back into the usual routine. Speaking of routines, I wonder how long it'll take for me to get used to my new one. Yesterday was Monday, which meant that I should have gone shopping for the week, but I totally forgot until about 9pm last night when I started wondering about what I was going to take for lunch today. Sure, it's not the end of the world, it's just a bit hard to get the motivation up to go shopping on my way home from work-especially on my first day after having been off for a week!

Because my days off have changed, it'll also mean getting used to chatting with my parents on a different morning. As of right now, we'll be chatting online every Friday morning, but I wonder if Tuesdays would be better for me...

How about you? Did your regular routine start yesterday? Or next week?

Have a great day!
