Good morning everyone,

So, it rained almost all day yesterday and it's looking like today is going to rain for most of the day today as well. It'll continue raining overnight, but should stop raining by tomorrow morning. Tomorrow and Thursday will be cloudy and overcast before finally becoming sunny again on Friday. Highs all week will be in the high 20s with lows around 20C or 21C. I might need to bring my duvet out again soon.

I had my health check yesterday and you're probably expecting me to rant about the Barium Swallow for the next two or three paragraphs, like I usually do, eh? Ha ha! Well, nope. Not this time. I always sign up for the morning health checks, just because I don't want to sit around all day waiting to get poked and prodded for a couple of hours. The morning hours are from 8:30 to 11:00 and, up till this year, I've always gone closer to 11:00. This year, I was there by 8:15 and it was busy-of course! It's always busy, but it went really smoothly.

In order to prevent a backlog at certain areas, they sent half of the people to do the Barium Swallow first, and I was among those people. It went so smoothly. I wish I had asked for the name of the guy who was doing it, because he was the nicest-and most importantly-quickest one so far. He had me in and out of there in less than 10 minutes! It was probably more like 5, but it always feels longer.

After that, it was just a walk in the park as I made my way through the rest of the stations.

At the end, I had a brief chat with the doctor who quickly looked over my results and told me that everything looked fine and that I was free to go.

We'll see how everything looks once I get the full results in about three weeks though...

Now, it's only 364 days to go till my next Barium Swallow...ugh!

Have a great day!
