Jaywalker revenge

Good morning everyone,

The awesome fall weather will continue for a couple more days-it's going to remain around 19C and sunny for today and tomorrow and they're calling for rain on Monday followed by a nice day on Tuesday. After that, the temperature is going to plummet and by the time next Friday rolls around the high could be as low as 11C with overnight lows around 5C! Brrr!

I have a funny story...well, it's funny for me.

The other day I was riding my bike back to Urban from Epoca and almost hit a pedestrian. The guy was in his 20s and was thinking...well, I don't know what he was thinking. I guess he was thinking he was too cool to follow the traffic light. My light was green and he was at a redl light, but he walked across the road right in front of me! I'm trying to be all-smiles this year, so I rang my bell and shouted (in a friendly way) that it was dangerous and he should be more careful.

He then glared at me as if I had cursed at him. I think he was embarrassed because I pointed out his social faux-pas in front of a bunch of people. So, he shouted back at me something really rude...and I just restrained myself and smiled...

...the ending is the best part...

Because riding right behind me were a couple of police officers on bicycles who stopped him and talked to him about crossing the road safely...I think they may have even given him a ticket for jaywalking. They were still talking to him when I rode away.

That is what we call 'karma'. When idiots do bad things and then bad things happen to them, we say, "Karma's a bitch, eh". Well, the 'eh' part we only say in Canada...ha ha!

So, to the jaywalker who was being a jerk in Fukuromachi yesterday...here's my message to you. Karma's a bitch, eh!

Have a great day!
