Poutine-it's great!

 Good morning everyone,

It looks like you will continue to swelter away in Hiroshima-it was a comfortable 27C when I got to Toronto and was able to have a great sleep. Today will be a little cool here-only 24C-but the rest of the week is looking like it'll be around 27C or 28C.

The flight was good-I was a bit worried about my bag being too heavy, but there was no problem, luckily. I'm guessing it'll weigh about half as much on the way back to Japan-sorry, but that means I won't be bringing back so many souvenirs...ha ha!

As usual, Air Canada's food was ok and the service was friendly, but it wasn't anything to write home about.

I got into my hotel, got settled and then met up with my friends for a quick beer and some poutine at a nearby bar. I think it had been about 10 years since the last time I'd had it. It's great, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it for anyone is on a diet...we ordered one that was only $8.00 and the three of us couldn't finish it...I guess we're not as young as we used to be...or our eyes were bigger than our stomachs...ha ha!

I had a pretty good sleep last night-it was nice and cool in my room, but I'm feeling a bit sleepy now.

Have a great day!
