I wish we had these when I was a boy scout...

Good morning everyone,

Today and tomorrow are looking great and Tuesday isn't looking too bad either. Clouds will roll in on Wednesday and we may see some rain on Thursday and Friday before it clears up again for the weekend.

When I was a boy scout, camping was hard work. All the equipment weighed a tonne and nothing was waterproof. Heck, we didn't even have hand warmers...but these days...well, check out some of these things that would have made my camping trips a breeze...

Personal Water Filter
A water filter is a must for anyone who loves camping, hiking, or spending time in the great outdoors. Manufactured by Swiss-based company Vestergaard, LifeStraw Steel uses a 2-stage filtration process to remove bacteria, protozoa, chlorine, and bad taste, helping you get pure, safe water on the go. Made of durable stainless steel, this personal water filter works with a replaceable activated carbon capsule and doesn’t require electrical power or batteries.

Wood Burning Campstove
Sleek, handy, and eco-friendly, the BioLite CampStove does more than just cooking and boiling water. It also converts the heat from a fire into electricity, allowing you to charge LED lights, mobile phones, and other gadgets. Since it weighs about 1kg, it’s not even too heavy to carry around.

Portable Bunk Beds
For the ultimate in camping comfort, pamper your family with a Cam-O-Bunk. Designed to ensure outdoor enthusiasts enjoy a good night’s sleep in extreme conditions, these portable bunk beds by Disc-O-Bed are a valuable item to add to your camping gear. They are easy to set up and come in a variety of sizes and designs to fit a broad range of tents. Moreover, their ingenious, convertible design and clever side organizers will help you make the most of the space you have-which is never enough in Japan.

What do you think? If you are wondering what to get me for Christmas...well, there are three ideas for you...ha ha!

Have a great day!
