This is not a test...

Good morning everyone,

Yep. It's hot. What can I say? It's going to be hot for at least the rest of the month. I guess we might as well get used to it.

I've lived in Japan for over a decade...closer to 2 decades if I'm being honest and I've loved it.

But all good things must come to an end and it's time for me to say, 'Sayonara' and head back to Canada.

I'm sure you all knew that I'd be heading home some day, but I didn't expect it to be quite yet. However, things have come up back home (they're personal, but it has nothing to do with the health of my family-everyone is in good health) and they have forced me to make a tough decision to go back home a fair bit earlier than I'd planned.

The date that I'm leaving Japan isn't completely fixed yet, but I'll be closing my school and the last day will be October 20th. After that, I'll clean up and visit some friends around Japan and then head home to Canada.

I have no idea what I'll be doing once I get there. It'll take me a while to get settled and then see what my options are and decide what's best. But once all of that happens, I'll be sure to let you know what I'm up to.

Anyway, this isn't my last blog. That'll also be October 20th. So, keep reading and I'll keep you posted if anything changes between now and then.

Have a great day!

Really!? Oh my gosh!! I can’t believe that!! I really like your way of teaching and need plenty of time to ask you about English though...
Today is not a April Fools’ Day, eh? sigh....😞

Re: No title

I'm sorry, it's not April Fool's Day. But I am glad to hear that you got some value out of my lessons. Who knows? I may be back again some day to teach again...

I was so surprised.
That's shamed.😭
But your mother must be worried about you.
